Farnair Switzerland is a Swiss airline. It operates regular express parcel services from Switzerland, Germany and Italy to the main hubs in Europe. It also specialises in operations for humanitarian organisations, the oil industry and other special operations. Its main base is EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg.[1] The airline's head office is on the Swiss side of EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg,[2] a French-Swiss binational airport. Even though the airport is physically located in France,[3] the Farnair head office may only be accessed from Switzerland.[2]

The airline was established and started operations in 1984. It is privately owned and also wholly owns the subsidiary airline Farnair Hungary.[1]
